🌿 2-in-1 Dehumidifier & Air Purifier

The Arete® One 20L is supplied with an H13 HEPA filter, allowing the appliance to help capture fine airborne particles while controlling humidity.

Air purification can be used alongside dehumidification or independently, making the appliance useful throughout the year even when moisture extraction is not required.

🧺 Smart Laundry Mode

Drying clothes indoors can significantly increase humidity. The dedicated Smart Laundry Mode helps remove moisture released by wet laundry, supporting faster indoor drying while reducing the amount of excess moisture released into the room.

This makes the Arete® One a practical alternative to leaving wet washing to dry naturally in poorly ventilated spaces.

🌙 Quiet Night Mode

The Arete® One operates at just 38 dB on its lowest fan setting, making it suitable for use in bedrooms and other quiet living areas.

When Night Mode is activated, the fan switches to the low-speed setting, the display lights switch off and button sounds are disabled to minimise disturbance.

💧 Smart Humidity Control

The built-in humidistat allows the target relative humidity to be set between 40% and 70% RH. The appliance automatically monitors room humidity and adjusts operation to help maintain the selected level.

This helps avoid unnecessary operation when the desired humidity level has already been reached.

🚿 Large 4.8-Litre Water Tank

The Arete® One 20L features a generous 4.8-litre water tank, reducing the frequency with which the tank needs to be emptied during normal use.

For longer-term operation, the appliance also supports continuous drainage using a suitable 12.5 mm garden hose. A compatible pump is available separately where drainage needs to run upwards.

Do not spray the appliance directly with water.
Use the appliance within the recommended operating temperature range of 5°C to 35°C.
The collected condensate is not drinking water. It may only be used for watering non-edible plants where appropriate.

Flammable Refrigerant Safety

This appliance contains approximately 65 g of R290 refrigerant. R290 is a flammable refrigerant.
The refrigerant is contained within a sealed system. Do not puncture, open, modify or damage the refrigerant circuit.
Do not use or store the appliance in a room smaller than 4 m².
Do not use or store the appliance near continuous sources of ignition such as open flames, gas fires, gas hobs, lit cigarettes, electric heaters or other ignition sources.
R290 refrigerant is odourless. A refrigerant leak may therefore not be detectable by smell.
If the appliance is damaged, do not use it. Disconnect it from the power supply and contact Meaco or the retailer.
Keep the appliance upright during use, storage and transportation.
After receiving the appliance, leave it standing upright for at least 6 hours before switching it on for the first time.
Servicing or repair of the refrigerant circuit must only be carried out by appropriately qualified personnel using suitable parts and procedures for flammable refrigerants.

Filter & Maintenance Safety

Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
Inspect the power cable regularly for signs of damage.
Clean the reusable dust filter at least every two weeks during regular use.
The dust filter may be vacuumed or cleaned with soapy water at a temperature no higher than 40°C. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it.
The H13 HEPA filter should be replaced when it changes from white to grey, typically approximately every 3 months depending on the operating environment.
The HEPA filter may be gently vacuumed to remove surface dust, but should be replaced when required.
For long-term storage, unplug the appliance, empty and dry the water tank completely, clean the filters and store the appliance in a dry, dust-free location away from direct sunlight.

Disposal & Recycling

Do not dispose of this electrical appliance with general household waste. At the end of its useful life, take the appliance to an appropriate electrical and electronic equipment collection or recycling facility, or use an applicable retailer take-back service.

Because the appliance contains flammable R290 refrigerant, do not puncture, cut or damage the refrigerant circuit during disposal. The appliance must be handled and recycled in accordance with applicable requirements for equipment containing refrigerant.

WEEE Information

This product is electrical and electronic equipment and must be collected separately at the end of its useful life.
