Safety Information

• Read and follow all manufacturer instructions before using the appliance.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities only where they have been given appropriate supervision or instruction and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Do not operate the appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged, if the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped, submerged in water or otherwise damaged. Contact Dyson or an authorised service provider for inspection or repair.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces, and do not handle the appliance or plug with wet hands.
• Keep the appliance away from flammable liquids, vapours, air fresheners and essential oils.
• Do not run the power cable under carpets, rugs, furniture or other appliances. Position the cable away from areas where it may present a trip hazard.
• Plug the appliance directly into a suitable wall socket. Do not use an extension cable where this could overload the electrical supply.
• Keep the appliance and power cable away from heated surfaces.
• Do not insert objects into any openings, as this may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
• Always carry the appliance by its base.
• Do not stand, sit or lean on the appliance.
• If the plug fits loosely in the socket or becomes unusually hot, stop using the socket and have it checked by a qualified electrician.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning, maintenance or filter replacement, and unplug it when not in use.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by Dyson, an authorised service agent or a similarly qualified person.

Laser Safety

This appliance contains a Class 1 consumer laser product. Do not stare into the light source and do not modify or disassemble the laser assembly. If the laser housing becomes damaged, stop using the appliance and contact Dyson or an authorised service provider.

Maintenance Safety

• Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
• Regularly clean the appliance and check the air inlets for dust, debris or blockages.
• Use a soft brush to remove dust and debris where appropriate.
• Do not use detergents or polishes to clean the appliance.
• The filter units are non-washable. Replace them when indicated by the appliance or MyDyson™ app.
• Servicing other than replacement of user-replaceable filters should be carried out by Dyson or an authorised service representative.

Disposal & Recycling

At the end of its useful life, take the appliance to an appropriate electrical and electronic equipment collection or recycling facility, or use an applicable retailer take-back service. Dispose of exhausted filter units in accordance with applicable local waste requirements.
